Oneida Lake Fishing Report:
As of 8/7/06:
Walleye fishing has slowed considerably however, casting spinner and worm rigs or jigging along weed lines has produced results. Smallmouth bass and yellow perch are taking crayfish, minnows or jig and minnow combinations fished on structure and in the weeds. Casting stick baits along shore early or late in the day is also producing smallmouth bass. North Bay seems to be a hotspot for perch on fathead minnows in 18 to 30 feet of water.
